Common questions, answered.
How do I measure for a window seat or an odd-shaped seat?
Send the length, depth and thickness you want, plus a few clear photos, or we measure on site at the consultation. For curved or angled seats, we make a paper template first so the cushion fits.
Can I send a photo of my old cushions and have copies made?
Yes. A photo and the measurements of your old cushions are enough to start, and we can match the shape, piping and thickness. We will tell you if a small change would improve the fit.
How do I choose between firm and soft foam?
High-density foam is firm and supportive, medium foam is balanced, and softer fill feels plush. Quick-dry foam is for outdoor use. We show foam samples at the consultation so you can compare how each one feels.
Can I get covers that come off for washing?
Often yes. We can add zips or fasteners so the cover can be removed, depending on the cushion’s shape and fabric. Tell us at the consultation, and we will confirm what is possible.
Can you make cushions to match a new sofa?
Yes. We make matching cushions in the same fabric as the sofa, so the set looks consistent. See our custom sofas service if you want the sofa built at the same time.
